Configuration/Asset Compliancy Analyst

About the role
Here at Babcock International we are looking for a Configuration/Asset Compliancy Analyst to work as part of the asset management function to focus on all things related to PC hardware. You will ensure that that authorised Configuration items (CI’s) are recorded from receipt to disposal, as well as defining and implementing configuration management processes.


Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing engagement with stakeholders and liaise with other areas that may be dealing with configuration management related functions (asset, license management)
• Identifying configuration items
• Implementing configuration management to industry Best Practice standards as well as managing the Continuous Service Improvement Plan 
• Reporting of the current status of all CI’s and providing management and customer reporting
• Regular audits and enforcing Configuration Management process across the programme
What do I need to do the role?


You must have experience in configuration and hardware asset management, with the ability to analyse and critique reports and data in a logical and business focused manner.

This role is based at Devonport Royal Dockyard which is located in the vibrant city of Plymouth, Devon in the south west of England. Plymouth is a city with a long and proud military history and more than its fair share of heritage. There is something for everyone here; from a superb coastline if you are a water sports enthusiast or Dartmoor National Park if you enjoy hiking and climbing, or simply enjoy the fantastic scenery. For a great night out we have the historic Barbican area with its wide variety of bars, clubs and restaurants.
• You will work a 37.5 hour week Monday-Friday with flexible start and finish times
• All applicants must have or be able to obtain SC security clearance
