The role
As a Air Traffic Controller, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The purpose of the Air Traffic Controller role is to ensure the smooth running of the Visual Control Tower, providing and safe and compliant operating environment for our aircraft.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll help to drive the delivery of the flying activities at RAF Wittering alongside your Babcock and Military colleagues by taking a ‘Whole Force’ approach to our activities and ensuring that Babcock’s excellent safety and delivery reputation is maintained at all times.

 

This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Wittering.

 

Essential experience of the Air Traffic Controller:

  • Military environment (desirable)
  • Experience controlling Tower and ground.

 

Qualifications for the Air Traffic Controller:

  • Air Traffic civilian licenced Controller holder Civil (CAA) ADI / Tower licence
  • Valid Class 3 Medical
  • Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required.
  • Driving Licence

 

Security Clearance

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS security clearance for this role.
