Instructional Designer
Location: Milton Keynes
Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £ 31,000 to £37,500 plus excellent benefits

 

About the role

Here at Babcock we are looking to recruit an Instructional Designer to design learning solutions for internal and external Babcock customers.

What do I need to do the role?

We really want you to have a formal qualification in Training Design (CIPD, CTP, TAP etc.)

 

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

  • Training Needs Analysis and development of learning objectives where required
  • Use recognised learning methodologies to select the most appropriate learning design
  • Develop learning assessments
  • Design learning evaluation methodology
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, clients and the development team
  • Create engaging and interactive Instructor Led Training (ILT) material
  • Create engaging e-learning scripts and simulation/scenario storyboards
  • Author assessment questions for course materials
  • Review lesson plans, scripts and storyboards to ensure quality and consistency throughout
  • Work co-operatively with all levels in the organisation to ensure instructional design standards are maintained
  • Overseeing the build phase of digital assets ensuring the learning design stays true to the original concept
  • Work to deadlines and budgets

 

 What else do I need to know?

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
