Training Manager

About the role

Babcock is the UK’s leading provider of automotive training, delivering both commercial and technical excellence to global automotive brands with around 2,000 apprentices on programmes.


Working on our Volkswagen contract you will be responsible for the management and development of the apprenticeship training team to deliver high quality training to the required occupational standards.

What do I need to be able to do the role?

You will need to have experience of managing staff to maximise productivity, implement change and deal with conflict.

We would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:


  • Experience of managing across a variety of occupational sectors
  • Strong customer relationship development skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent problem solving/decision making skills
