About the role

Here at Babcock International we are now recruiting for a HR Advisor to work within our Emergency Services & Training part of the business, most specifically to support the Met Police contract. The successful candidate will report into the HR Business Partner and there will be no line management responsibility.  

This role is going to be incredibly varied and the successful post holder will get involved in all aspects of HR from managing employee relations, recruitment, pay & benefits as well as looking at relevant procedures & policies. They’ll also support the HR Business Partner with looking into more strategic activities when required.

What do I need to do the role?

A strong match for this role will be someone who is already an experienced HR Advisor or alternatively an ambitious HR Officer/ Coordinator looking for their next step up. In order to be considered, you need to have an HR degree or Level 5 CIDP alongside up to date knowledge of UK Employment Law, familiarity with HRIS and proven experience handling complex employee relations cases.

What else do I need to know?

• This role could be based in Wyvil Court or Park Royal but there will be occasional travel required to other UK locations, approx. once every two months.
• This role will require a security clearance.
