Supplier Apprentice
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join us an apprentice to be trained as a skilled supplier for Babcock International. Responsible to the Supply Manager and their Supervisors for the efficient and timely completion of supply activities within their area of responsibility in accordance with extant MoD / RAF & Babcock Directives, Publications and Instructions. You will be assisting in providing logistical support to the Station’s operational output whilst ensuring we are compliant with policies and processes.
This 30 Month apprenticeship will be completed within the RAF Valley HADES Supply Department. The apprenticeship is awarded by Pearson and provided / assessed by Arfon Dwyfor Training Ltd.
Assistance in the successful fulfilment of the contracted tasking for Supply. Ensuring that all activities within the Department are carried out to a high quality standard and in accordance with the appropriate standards, practices, technical publications, and procedures.
Maintenance and stock management of the Unit Materiel Account in accordance with current regulations.
Operate Log IS computer systems as required and with the appropriate training.
Record, store and access information relevant to the organisation (MODNET).
Ensuring a high level of housekeeping, cleanliness and security are maintained.
What you’ll need:
Current Full Car Driving Licence
Computer Literate and familiar with MS Excel / Word
A minimum GCSE’s at Grade 4 (C) in Maths & English
Ability to achieve numeracy and literacy Level 2
