About you   

As an experienced electrical systems engineer, you will provide a very key role in providing a huge range of engineering services that support the design, delivery, acceptance, sustainment of the Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System (EDHFCS) and other wider business projects. You will have the ability to demonstrate practical application of systems engineering related to Electrical hardware, subsystem design, interface, and installation. In addition, the ability to understand the Defence Capability Life Cycle would be advantageous.

 

About the role   

Reporting to the Principal Systems Engineer and forming part of the integrated product team, in this role you will provide a key support service to our Defence Enhanced High Frequency Communications System. You will be required to perform complex systems engineering activities with relation to hardware product design, system analysis and acceptance testing and certification. A high level of coordination is required to achieve project timelines keeping established practices and standards.

 

This role can be located in either Melebourne or Adelaide. 

 

To be successful in this position you will bring:

  • Relevant experience in either electrical or systems engineering
  • Be an Australian Citizen
  • Relevant degree in engineering
  • Have the ability to obtain a Commonwealth Defence security clearance as defined by AGSVA guidelines
  • Excellent technical communication skills- written and verbal
