We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Group Warehousing 3PL  to join our business, focusing on driving transformational change across our Supply Chain operations including Integrated Business planning, Material Planning and Warehouse Operations.  In this hybrid working role you’ll be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, designing, and driving the global warehouse network to reduce costs, increase flexibility, and support future business growth

What will you be doing?
As the Head of Group Warehousing 3PL, you’ll play a key role in supporting multiple site specific, and network wide programs and initiatives to ensure we achieve our Warehouse COE financial targets, KPI's, business objectives, and drive resolution of roadblocks.


What the role involves:
•    Benchmark and select preferred Partner(s) for Babcock outsourced Supply Chain activities
•    Make versus Buy and definition of outsourced Supply Chain Activities across the Group
•    Lead the implementation of outsourcing activities with business Supply Chain operations
•    Manage preferred provider and partners for optimum performance
•    Manage site identification/setup, manage contracts, monitor spend, and support audits and execute other key COE accountabilities
•    Conduct/lead business process analysis to understand the needs of the warehouse organization and enterprise ultimately translating those needs into clear recommendations and solutions for stakeholders


The experience you’ll bring     
•    Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
•    A wealth of experience in related field (warehouse operations, supply chain, distribution, logistics, inventory, demand planning, supply planning, transportation, manufacturing, sourcing, operational excellence, etc.)
•    Prior experiences leading and managing within a highly regulated environment and leading large and geographically dispersed/matrix organization with many levels (leadership
•    Prior experience in operational excellence, lean six sigma, continuous improvement, project management
•    Experience with WMS software applications and Warehouse Hardware 
•    Experience of 3PL/4Pl operations and demonstrated successful outsourcing Supply Chains

•    Must hold or have ability to obtain SC security clearance
