About the role
Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit a Receipt & Despatch Forward Delivery Supplier.

 

You’ll undertake the receipt, storage, packaging and despatch functions of the logistics Supply-chain.


The key accountabilities of the jobholder will be as follows:
•    Carry out receipt, storage, packaging and despatch of MoD stores and equipment
•    Action Supplier deliveries, checking all receipts and notifying discrepancies to Supply Control and Accounting Section.
•    Correct packaging and documentation to despatch dangerous goods by Air and Road 
•    Disposal of surplus or obsolete MoD stores and equipment 

 

What do I need to do the role?
You’ll need to hold a full current driving license and have previous experience in Supply Chain/Logistics in a military or equivalent civilian environment although training can be provide for the successful candidate. 

 

Would also like you to have experience in the following:
•    Computer literate
•    Can work on their own initiative
•    Able to be flexible to accommodate changes in work practices
•    Physically fit and able to work outside throughout the year


What else do I need to know?
•    The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
