Facilities Assistant

About the role

 

Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit Facilities Assistant to join the team and carry out planned cleaning of all baggage system equipment to a standard normal for industrial equipment and acceptable to the Heathrow Fire Prevention Officer

 

What do I need to do the role?

 

You’ll need to have a good standard of secondary education and have previous industrial environment experience. 

 

We would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

  • Be a good communicator , responsible and have the physical attributes for this role
  • Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces alike
  • Have basic mechanical skills
  • Display the ability to multi-task
  • Have basic computer literacy
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work as part as of a team

 

Lastly, you’ll need to be able to manage and prioritise cleaning schedule with time restrictions and have a basic knowledge of tools/ cleaning equipment that will be required to complete duties.

 

 What else do I need to know?

 

  • We are happy to talk about flexible working.  Please ask about alternative patterns of work at interview.
  • You will work a 42 Hour week – night shift 8pm – 5am
