Senior Supervisor AV Elec

About the role

Here at Babcock we are looking to recruit a Senior Supervisor AV Elec to ensure trade tasks are carried out with the correct level of supervision by persons authorised and competent to do so. Tasks are to be monitored and carried out in a safe and efficient manner to ensure task progression meets the allocated flying program without compromising flight safety or the airworthiness of the aircraft. Any problems or foreseen delays are to be passed direct to Line Manager.


Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

  • Sign off trade works
  • Insert controlled information into the Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Condition technical equipment as SCRAP
  • Specify extent of independent inspections in source trade and outside source trade
  • Maintaining a PEVL
  • Act as nominated Deputy during absences.
  • When detailed, acting as Detachment Manager for both Overseas and UK detachments, liaising with the Detachment Planner, the MM/DMM and the Supply Supervisor during the preparation, operation and recovery phases.
  • Precision Terminal Process
  • Undertake repetition pitot static sense and leak tests
  • Supervise aircraft armament system maintenance


What do I need to do the role?

You’ll need to have extensive supervisory experience and Supervisors in Aviation.


What else do I need to know?

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
