Maintenance Support Engineer (MSE)

About the role

 

Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit a Maintenance Support Engineer (MSE) responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of all assigned tasks. You will carry out the roles of Technical Records, Evaluator, Maintenance Support Engineer and Maintenance Approval Engineer within IMS and support the compiling of the technical section of DASOR’s.

 

Other responsibilities will include;                      

 

  • Create/Edit/Retiring Blocks, Requirements and Job Cards
  • Prepare on Aircraft work package for recovery
  • On Aircraft non routine analysis
  • Deputise for Team Leader during periods of absence and deliver briefings to customer & staff as required.
  • Ensure that PDRs are compiled in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining a PEVL to establish continuity of experience and return their individual PEVLs for validation of entries on a regular basis.

 

What do I need to do the role?

 

You must have Training in an Aircraft related discipline to City and Guilds 2675 Level 3 or equivalent i.e. Aero NVQ Level 3 as well as experience in a Supervisory position within a related engineering environment.

 

You will also have knowledge of logistics processes, organisation capabilities, privileges and limitations and possess good communication and literacy skills, and demonstrate teamwork, decision-making and leadership abilities.
