Babcock at Royal Air Force High Wycombe has a vacancy for an Administration Support Clerk. The role is initially for a 2-year contract and is full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Royal Air Force High Wycombe is the home of Headquarters Air Command (HQ Air) and your role will involve working as part of the Air Resource and Plans Strategic Plans Team responsible for coordinating and producing the Command Plan (CP) for the forthcoming financial year. 


Who we are looking for?

We are looking for an Air Resource and Plans Administration Support Clerk to carry out administrative support to the Air Resource and Plans Strategic Plans Team.


What will you be doing?

•    Monitoring inputs from across the fourteen Royal Air Force Business areas including scheduling regular virtual and face to face meetings, cascading agendas and records of decisions.  
•    Monitoring emails in a shared multiuser email account and tracking actions. Bringing to attention priority tasks requiring line management action. 
•    Monitoring messages and notifications in Microsoft Teams and tracking actions. Bringing to attention priority tasks requiring line management action.
•    Inputting tasks in Microsoft Planner and recording progress. Bringing to attention priority tasks requiring line management action.
•    Managing the SharePoint and OneNote file structure associated with all Command Plan products.
•    Providing regular updates and reviews at the weekly team meeting in line with the Command Plan (Business Plan) schedule.

 

The experience you’ll bring 

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications in particular Excel, Outlook, Skype, SharePoint – training will be provided, OneDrive – training will be provided, PowerPoint – training will be provided, Teams – training will be provided, OneNote – training will be provided and Planner – training will be provided.

•    Knowledge of UK military structure.
