About the role
Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit a Dental Receptionist.

 

The role is part time, 16 hours per week, 0800 to 1700 Monday and Tuesday.

 

RAF High Wycombe is the home of HQ Air Command and this role is a member of a team of 9 covering various accounts and administration roles.

 

Main Tasks:

The Dental Receptionist Clerk will be required to provide a receptionist services within the Station Dental Centre. A few of the main duties will include:

• Delivery of the contract in accordance with the Statement of Requirement.
• Arrange appointments and recalls for all entitled personnel using the Dental Centre’s computerised diary system.
• Act as the initial contact for all patients attending the Dental Centre ensuring it is friendly, efficient and welcoming.
• Check patients in on arrival, verbally confirming their name/rank/service number and raise the necessary documentation.
• Maintain the appointment book/computer diary, making appointments as requested by Dental Officers and the Dental Hygienist. Informing the Clinician concerned should it prove impossible to appoint a patient at a particularly requested time.

 

What do I need to do the role?

You’ll need at least 2 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent, including English Language or NVQ Business Administration Level 1 and experience in word processing systems is essential with a working knowledge of MS Office applications including the internet.
