About the role

In this role you will be part of a team responsible for the preparation and management of Integrated Project Master Schedules and prepare scheduling, earned value and project controls reports for External Maintenance Availabilities (EMA’s), Defect Rectification Periods (DRP’s) and Maintenance Window Opportunities (MWO’s).

 

Your work will play a key part in supporting Babcock's Warship Asset Management Agreement (WAMA) alliance for the total asset management of the Anzac Class frigates through to the end of their life. 

 

This is a permanent position located in Henderson WA.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain Integrated Project Master Schedule (IPMS) for EMA’s and MWO’s and continuous maintenance;
  • Regularly analyse IPMS and manage schedule variance and float;
  • Produce and evaluate project management information from IPMS;
  • Ensure all planning interfaces and inter-dependencies are fully captured in the IPMS;
  • Produce and maintain critical path analysis and key event/milestones plan;
  • Identification of quantitative schedule risk through analysis of IPMS;
  • Support the Production Manager in preparation of weekly project reports and ad-hoc reports to NSM management; and
  • Directly engage with Subcontractors and Project Supervisors to obtain IPMS data and updates.

 

About you

You will be a problem-solver with exceptional analytical skills; with the ability to work as an effective team member. You will pride yourself on your strong ethics and integrity and possess well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. 

 

You will have demonstrated experience in a similar scheduler/ planner role and intermediate to advanced skills in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel. You will show a working understanding of earned value analysis, critical path method and associated reporting.

 

Essential Compliance Requirements:

  • Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an appropriate level as per role requirements
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card).
