Commercial Officer


Salary up to £35,000 per year

Here at Babcock International we are looking to recruit a Commercial Officer to join the currently close knit team working on a variety of defence based contract differing in size and complexity. This opportunity would suit an individual who has gained relevant experience early in their commercial career and sees this as the next step in their development or an individual who is qualified by experience who is comfortable with the industry complexities.

As a Commercial Officer you will be able to provide accurate, timely advice and guidance on both contractual and general commercial matters.

What do I need to do the role?

You will be educated with a minimum of a HNC, preferably degree qualified but qualified by experience is also sought after.

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of the following areas:

  • Contract Administration
  • Currently working in a commercial setting
  • Comfortable dealing with customers and have a understanding of the complexities of contracts

What else do I need to know?

  • Travel may be required but on an infrequent basis
  • You will be required to fulfil and pass Security Clearance measures
