Marine Engineering Electrical Trainer

About the role

 

To deliver high quality training in line with Company standards and contractual requirements and support the contractual training outputs required by the Marine Electrical Dept to support Royal Navy engineers.

 

• Continually improve the way they contribute to the business
• Ensure that they are best equipped to support future change
• Ensure that they work in an effective collaborative manner with MoD staff, displaying the appropriate behaviours at all times

 

Main Tasks:

 

• To instruct Electrical & Electronic principles training in accordance with the Training Plan and Sultan Training Standing Operating Procedures.
• To assist in maintaining and updating training documentation.
• To assess student course work and provide feedback on performance
• To be responsible for the duty of care of trainees during the delivery of training.
• To carry out the training equipment maintenance for which suitable qualifications and experience are held.
• Ensure Company security, health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times. direction

 

What do I need to do the role?

 

Technical Experience and Qualifications:

 

• Consolidated experience (within last 5 years), or directly employed in Marine electrical and electronic engineering principles in the maritime environment.

• Demonstrates effective coaching skills in the learning environment
• Demonstrates a knowledge and understanding of assessment methods and can design these as appropriate in order to measure the effectiveness of the training against stated training objectives
• Provides effective learner advice, guidance and support
