About the role

Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit a Training Facilitator to deliver high quality training support in line with Company standards and contractual requirements.

Your main tasks will include the booking of guest lecturers to correct course, in liaison with Training Planning, to ensure correct date, time and venue accepted by the lecturer and impact of failure to attend clearly articulated. The management of guest lecturers where instructional staff or Course Management are unable to support to facilitate correct arrival time and venue, including liaison with security staff if required. Manpower allocation in liaison with Training Planning and in support of training delivery. Trainee failure, back classing & warnings routines, in liaison with Course Manager, instructor, Divisional Officer and Training Planning. Process trainee ‘no-shows’ and update relevant systems. Award JPA competence criteria. Provide where required a ‘Government to Government’ facilitation service. Distribute trainee course joining information. Production of trainee reports, in liaison with Instructional Staff, Course Managers and Divisional Officers. Provide agreed and contractual elements of a course management service. Support agreed and contractual training course related accommodation and travel requirements for trainees . TAFMIS (DITM) input/ output activities, including TAFMIS ‘End-User’ functions. Deliver an Internal Validation Assessment Service (In-Val, PCD and data gathering) in liaison with the Quality Analysts, including entering In-Val data into TAFMIS, support to report production and analytical support. The management and delivery of course testing and examination process, including assessment management and control, data entry into TAFMIS and support to assessment analysis and report production. Record management including scanning, filing, updates of record matrices, archiving and access to data records, hard and soft copy.

What do I need to do the role?

You’ll need experience of Internal Validation, including PCD delivery and relevant DCTS qualifications

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

  • Consolidated experience in providing training facilitative support, ideally in a military training environment
  • Experience of analytical processes
  • Experience in the use of TAFMIS and equivalent database systems
  • Experience of training administration activities
  • ECDL and/or consolidated experience of using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word (or equivalent software packages) to manipulate data accordingly and to present statistical information

What else do I need to know?

  • You should hold or have the ability to obtain SC Clearance
