About the role

Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit 2 Media Developers

You will be responsible for taking design briefs from customers and producing fit for purpose eLearning content through storyboard development that’s delivered to project timelines, resources and budget. The Identification and implementation of best practice in all areas of media web development for eLearning projects and lessons. Including Rapid Authoring, Gaming, simulations/animations and mobile learning content.  Maintaining and adhering to internal quality processes, asset management of electronic files, admin systems and document management control. Ensuring compliance with MoD & Babcock regulations and procedures

What do I need to do the role?

You will need an HNC (or higher) or 5 years relevant experience in the Media Development industry for eLearning

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

  • Consolidated experience as a Web developer using JavaScript, CCS and HTML5
  • Consolidated experience of modelling for simulation and animation scenes/scenarios 
  • Consolidated experience of Unity based gaming, building low poly models, textures and renders for mobile output
  • Consolidated experience of Rapid Authoring tools Storyline and Captivate
  • Consolidated experience of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office based software on a PC based system
  • Proven experience in the delivery of eLearning Media projects
