Finance Business Partner
HMS Collingwood

Here at Babcock International we currently have the requirement for a Finance Business Partner based at HMS Collingwood.

Reporting to the Business Facing Finance Manager, the successful candidate will support and accurately report on the financial performance for a portfolio of contracts within Marine Training.  Working closely with the Director of Training, Contract Managers and Operational Support Staff driving maximum profitability and efficiency.

Your main tasks will include improving the impact, and understanding, of the financial reporting on contract performance, Providing effective finance and commercial input, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered.


You will also build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders their teams while working in a collaborative manner with Internal & External customers to deliver contracted financial information.

You will be the financial lead on Pipeline tendering activities.


What do I need to do the role?
We require you to be a part qualifed accountant who is still actively pursuing the completion of their qualifications.

We would also like you to have experience of the following:
• Ability to understand and manipulate data to present clear and concise financial messages for review.
• Ability to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved or surpassed.
• Ability to maintain knowledge of industry and regulatory standards
• Project/Long Term Accounting
• Experience of SAP

Finally, you will require flexibility in working pattern to align with calendar month end requirements
