Babcock is recruiting for an experienced Team Support Administrator. The purpose of the role is to provide high quality administration in the Administration Team Hub in Babcock LDP

Major Tasks And Activities

Top Major Tasks and Activities: 
•    Provide high quality, confidential administrative support to the Admin Hub and maintain a range of clerical and administrative systems, including the maintenance of electronic records. 
•    Efficiently process letters, reports and data as required. 
•    Ensure office administration is maintained effectively with regard to meetings, telephone calls, scanning, photocopying, mail sorting. 
•    Assist with co-ordinating visits - including liaising with Advisers, sending out appointment letters and maintaining spreadsheets/database. 
•    Assist with co-ordinating training - liaising with venues, sending information packs and recording evaluations. 
•    Record/monitor and collate data for reporting 
•    Contribute to web based resources/information updates.


Additional Key Accountabilities
•    Minute taking at meetings if required. 
•    Provide a range of administration support functions for all teams as required. 
•    Cover Reception duties when required. 
•    Commitment to and responsibility for Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in all working practices. 
•    To conform to, actively commit to and promote LDP Customer Service Standards both with internal and external customers. 
•    Protect assets from unauthorised access, disclosure modification, destruction or interference.

Key Skills 

Key Technical Skills/competencies
•    Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and its applications, including ability to create, maintain and manipulate spreadsheets. 
•    Working with sensitive and confidential information

•    Ability to work under pressure to deal with conflicting demands 
•    Ability to prioritise and use initiative 
•    Efficient storage/retrieval and manipulation of data 
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
•    Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of information.

•    Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to work to short and long term deadlines 
•    Ability to plan ahead 


Company/Industry Knowledge
•    Experience within the administrative and customer focussed field


•    Educated to a good standard of education, minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English at C grade or above
