The Trainer - Workshop Technology role is based within our Defence Training business area.

The role

The difference our new Trainer - Workshop Technology will make
As a Trainer - Workshop Technology, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be delivering theory training course modules and practical training of hand skills, bench fitting, cranes and the associated workshop technology within the workshop technology department required for trainees in support of the DCTT EMTC contract. 

Day to day, you will be teaching basic hand skills to military engineering students including fitting, drilling and grinding. You will also be maintaining and updating training documentation

Essential experience:
•    Level 3 in Engineering 
•    Engineering teaching experience in further education is desirable
•    Engineering background e.g., prosthetic work/car mechanic is desirable
•    Good craft/technical skills
•    Previous experience of Engineering bench fitting / Milling and Turning is desirable
•    Must hold or have the ability to obtain BPSS Security Clearance
