Day to day, you’ll assist the Through-life Support manager and system Project Managers by conducting detailed investigations into safety, operational and environmental issues, collating required evidence, with requisite summaries, conclusions and recommendations for support improvements and contractual KPI claims. You’ll produce reports to demonstrate performance delivery for Through-life Support activities and provide oversight and management of System obsolescence, Lifed Item, modifications and configuration management as required. You’ll also conduct a range of Supportability Analysis tasking (including FMECA, RCM and LORA) in order to identify and maintain maintenance tasks/instructions and identification of spare parts and tooling; and undertake codification, Documentation, UMMS Maintenance, S2022 & S2022A responsibilities as required by role.

Essential experience

 

•    Qualified to HNC level or equivalent or studying towards, in an engineering discipline
•    Possess good computer literacy, with demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to adopt and utilise specialist software as required
•    Desirable; Membership of appropriate professional body
•    The ability to achieve SC clearance
