The role
As a Maintenance Engineer you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will undertake preventative and corrective maintenance on land-based satellite communication terminals.

 

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Be part of the provision for 24/7/365 telephone support, UK and worldwide to all customers such that agreed levels of terminal availability are maintained. Aim to resolve all support calls efficiently as possible to maintain terminal availability.
  • Ensure a highly effective customer service culture is developed for the technical maintenance and support department with all employees fully dedicated to ensuring that, Infrastructure Management is recognised as the number one provider of choice for all customers.
  • Perform RF Equipment Testing and Repair
  • Perform Software and Baseband Testing and Repair.
  • Perform General equipment Repair 
  • Perform Electrical Safety Inspection and Test


This role is full time, 37 hours per week and will be based onsite at Hawthorn, 5 days per week.

 

Essential Qualifications for the Maintenance Engineer:

  • HNC in Electrical or Communications Engineering or equivalent

 

Desirable Qualifications for the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Full Clean Driving Licence
  • C&G 2377-77 In Service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
