About the role

Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit a Ground Operations Officer (Training).

 

You’ll co-ordinate the internal and external training requirement for company pilots and pilots seeking to undertake commercial courses with Babcock MCS Onshore Training Services. This role is an integral part of the operations function for MCS and the postholder will support operations activity on a daily basis.

 

• The co-ordination of internal pilot training, simulator scheduling and allocation of appropriate training resources.
• The management of the company training plan combining the resources of Training Captains against the requirements of internal and external students.
• The preparation of support material to ensure external students are invoiced appropriately commencing with preparation and communication of costed course proposals, training contracts and student records.
• Ability to undertake Operations Officer tasking in support of the primary Operations Officer role.

 

What do I need to do the role?

• High level of IT skills and ability to work with a variety of applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Air Maestro.
• A detailed knowledge of pilot training requirements in line with EASA FCL standards.
• Knowledge of the commercial structure and value of courses for external marketing.
• Previous aviation operations experience desirable but not essential
• Educated to at least ‘A’ level standard or equivalent.
