About the role:
Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit a Compliance Monitoring & Quality Manager to join our UK Aviation business a leading AOC providing flight operations, ATO and design & completion services within the UK Rotarywing sector.


This is an excellent chance for an experienced UK Aviation Compliance professional to overhaul and implement new and improved compliance and quality management frameworks and to develop and lead our compliance and quality function.

This is a Multiple Form 4 role responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained across all functions of the Onshore business within Babcock UK Aviation including flight operations, ground operations, flight crew training, engineering and maintenance. You’ll report directly into the Director Onshore (Accountable Manager) and with a functional dotted line into the Director of Safety and Assurance UK.

Main Tasks:
• Establishment of an independent quality management system to monitor compliance with the AOC including EASA Part-M and Part-145, ATO, BCAR, Part 21G and Part 21J requirements, throughout the Onshore organisation
• Implementation of a quality audit programme in which all Operational, Maintenance, Flight Training, Design, Production and Continuing Airworthiness procedures are reviewed at regular intervals in relation to each type of aircraft maintained and to bring any non-conformance or poor standards to the attention of the person concerned
• Follow up and closure of any non-conformance
• Responsible for the implementation, development and oversight of compliance policies and procedures
• Liaison with external agencies (regulators, clients, suppliers) with respect to compliance issues

What do I need to do the role?
You’ll need to be a qualified auditor with Compliance Monitoring /Quality management experience within the aviation industry and have strong knowledge and application of aviation regulations including EU and National Part 145, Part M, Part-Ops, Part-21J/G, Part ATO.
You’ll also need a willingness to travel.
