HSE Advisor

About the role


Here at Babcock International we looking to recruit a SHEF Advisor to further strengthen our HSE capability at Brompton Barracks; A key site that form part of the Royal School of Military Engineering. The site is made up of large training areas, engineering facilities and workshops as well as extensive accommodation and office blocks. As such you will be involved in a wide array of HSE matters and risk mitigation.


On a daily basis you will provide support to managers whilst advising on best practice for implementing policies. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with current legislation and conducting HSE auditing.


This is an exciting opportunity to work within a large, complex and interesting environment where Health and Safety is of critical importance.


What do I need to do the role?


You will be a Health & Safety professional with ideally a background as an Advisor in an Engineering or high risk industry.


You will also be an engaging, proactive and confident individual with excellent presentation and training skills and previous experience in conducting H&S activities, ideally within auditing.


What else do I need to know?


  • Must be eligible for UK Security Clearence
  • This role could be considered for flexible working.
