About the role

Here at Babcock International we are recruiting for a Category C Driver to be based at Chatham Kent at the Royal School of Military Engineering (RSME). Babcock provides the RSME with Training and Infrastructure Management.


You will provide a transport service, which includes driving Military students to and from on-site training courses and for off-site appointments, you will also be required to transport plant machinery to locations such as Devon and Cornwall. You will be using a vast range of vehicles from Coaches to Military Land Rovers.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in an interested environment and gain specialist qualifications including ADR (carriage of dangerous goods).
What do I need to do the role?
 • You must have a minimum of a Category C Driving Licence (not C1)
• Category CE and D is desirable.
• Customer focused with the ability to build positive working relationships
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
What else do I need to know?

• Monday to Thurs 7:00 to 16:30 with a half day on Friday.
• Overtime is paid at x1.5
• Further training and driving courses are available which will provide salary uplifts.
• 25 days annual leave and pension
