Here at Babcock International we are currently seeking a Commercial Manager in Chatham, Kent. Working for the Commercial Director the Commercial Manager will be required to provide commercial and supplier management for the RSME (Royal School of Military Engineering) contract. Support to contract change and contractual issues across the wider Training Line of Business may also be required.

 

The commercial manager will l play a significant role in leading negotiations in respect of contractual issues, supporting commercial projects across the wider business unit and managing supplier relationships.

 

What do I need to do the role?

 

We will require you to hold significant experience in some or all of the following:

• Proven track record of managing part or all of multi £m MOD contracts and dealing with Authority customers
• Proven track record of leading/supporting multi £m contractual changes with Authority customers
• Ability to translate impact of negotiated terms on P&L and risk to delivery

 

What else do I need to know?

 

Role based in Chatham but would be required to travel to Minley, Bicester, Andover and other Babcock sites as required.
