Defence Training & TMASS

The Technical Officer role is based within Defence Training

 

The role

The difference our new Technical Officer will make

 

As a Technical Officer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be organising and delivering new electrical and mechanical works using external contractors. 

 

Day to day, you’ll ensure a positive Health and Safety culture, focusing and supporting teams towards the aim of zero accidents within a team of 3. This will include Ensuring prescribed time, cost and quality standards are met when delivering works.


You will also Manage and co-ordinate the delivery of new works programmes.  Primarily Project Managing smaller value works (up to bit not limited to £100k) to defined timelines and standards that include the production of project documentation.

Essential experience

•    You will need HND Mechanical and electrical based qualification
•    Background experience in construction management is desirable  
•    We will need you to have a flexible working approach where you can manage your own time 
•    Excellent communication skills are needed
•    We will need you to possess excellent written skills 
•    You will need to satisfy security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving ‘Security Check’ (SC) clearance.
