About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Analytics Manger to lead our dynamic Analytics team.  Defence Systems Technology is a business unit in the Marine Sector of Babcock International Group.

Your role will be to lead and develop the Analytics team to enable the business to surpass our ambitious growth targets and exceed our customer expectations, through the provision of data driven decision making and impactful analytics.

You will lead a team of analysts that provide data management, business intelligence, mathematical modelling, forecasting and planning analytics to the business to enable informed decisions to be made, growth prospects captured and business performance improvement opportunities identified and discharged.

 You will have:
• Experience of leading and developing technical teams
• A track record of delivering excellent results through analytics
• A degree or equivalent qualifiction
• High numeracy, with an eye for detail, strong analytical and problem solving skills
• High computer literacy – with experience in the following (or similar) – MS suite (particularly Excel, Access and Power BI), Qlikview, Tableau, SQL, R, Python, SAS
• Understanding of importance of data and how to optimise its quality
