The Finance Bid Lead is based within our Finance business area.

The role


The difference our new Finance Bid Lead will make
As a Finance Bid Lead, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. We’re looking for an exceptional accountant who can help us win business by providing financial leadership and pricing expertise in bids and tenders. 


Day to day, you’ll develop and maintain detailed financial models relating to bids, strategy and new business, ensuring the financial integrity of these models. You will support bids and rebids as required, and assume responsibility for the integrity of financial data used in bid models and submissions (at all stages of the bid process), ensuring compliance with Group bid policies and DOA at all times.

This role provides hybrid working arrangements with 2/3 days in the office and 2/3 days working from home. This role also requires travel as bids and project dictates. 


Essential experience


  • Recognised professional qualification. ACA/CIMA/ACCA – If you are near to completing your qualification and are up to other essential points, we may consider you.
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills, good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Advanced numeric, analytical, and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to understand and manipulate data to present clear and concise financial messages for review.
  • Proactive planner and project manager.
