About the role

 

Here at Babcock International, we’re looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

 

You will be accountable for the commercial administration of a contract (or contracts), ensuring compliance with the contract terms and conditions and Company and Group policies, procedures and delegated authorities.

 

Through appropriate contract administration, risk management and negotiation, you will manage the contract(s) effectively to deliver or improve the agreed profitability and cash projections, informing line management and seeking guidance as and when required.

 

You will also develop and maintain client, supply chain and business function relationships, and ensure the core values of the Company are upheld at all times.

 

What do I need to do the role?

 

You must hold a Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar commercial discipline.

 

You will have previous experience working in a Quantity Surveyor role within the Rail, Civil Engineering or Construction sectors.

 

You will also have experience of managing large value contracts from £5-£10 million.

 

What else do I need to know?

 

This role is based out of our Hamilton office near Glasgow, with some travelling to sites across Scotland.
