Financial Accountant

About the role
 Here at Babcock International we currently have the opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our team in Hamilton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the submission of accurate, high quality and timely financial information to Group, Central and relevant external parties, ensuring that all statutory and legal tax requirements are met.

 Additionally responsibilities will include and not be limited to; manage corporate service overheads, timely production of information including VAT submissions, management of cash flows, reporting and excellent stakeholder management.

What do I need to do the role?

We would like you to be a fully qualified accountant along with all or some of the following:
• Good business/process analysis skills.
• Strong man-management, influencing and communication skills at all levels.
• Experience of dealing with senior management.
• Previous experience in engineering or construction industry in a corporate capacity.
