Administrative Assistant

About the role

 

Here at Babcock International, we’re looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to provide an administration service to the Framework Delivery Teams, carrying out general admin duties as requested/required e.g. incoming/outgoing correspondence, maintain office files, typing of correspondence, minute taking and dissemination of same, filing, reception cover etc.

 

Main Responsibilities include;
• Assist in arranging travel and accommodation for the various ongoing framework projects.
• Arranging external catering and / or refreshments for meetings and book/set up meeting rooms.
• Management of competency cards issued to the office and to staff through the office.
• Liaise with other divisions/departments, external organisations etc. as required.
• Assist document control for the ongoing projects, organising/maintaining internal P drive and Share Point folders.
• To raise requisitions for goods and services through the company business system (IFS) and to close out the procedure with Goods Receipting.
• Compile and submit regular reports/updates per established timescales.

 

This is an exciting opportunity working within a varied role in a busy environment.

 

What do I need to do the role?

 

You will have excellent administration experience within an office environment and previous working experience of dealing with internal/external customers.

 

You will demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.

 

 You will also possess a flexible approach and willingness to help with other tasks from time to time.
