We’re looking for someone dynamic, ambitious and eager to portray the professional image of the RAF Halton Information Technology Small System (ITSS) Team.


Who we are looking for?

The team operate in a high-risk environment so we are looking for someone who share the same understanding and respect for health and safety of ourselves and each other to ensure that everyone goes home safe every day. You'll support the Phase1, 2 and 3 training delivery network and its associated equipment used at RAF Halton, Monday to Friday. Tasks can be as varied as assisting users with IT issues to assisting with installation of network infrastructure.

 

What will you be doing?

•    Logging and Monitoring of all current IT Tasks.
•    Rectification of IT faults within your skillsets.
•    Ensuring documentation is completed accurately and iaw legislation and relevant publications.
•    Escalating IT faults to other resolvers when required.
•    Assisting other members of the ITSS Team when required.
•    Building Laptops, PCs to a standard image.
 

The experience you’ll bring 

•    Computer literate and keen interest in IT 
•    A certification in any IT discipline 
•    Experience in customer service/ helpdesk environment 
•    Good communication skills verbal and writtten 
•    Physically fit – Manually handling of boxes and equipment etc.
•    Clean Driving License 
 

You must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
