Rigger Transport Apprentice

About the role:

This is your opportunity to learn a trade in a unique environment, we have the only Dry Dock in the country and we operate out of the Devonport Navy Dockyard, where no two days are the same. 


  • We have highly experienced and qualified Riggers onsite to learn from and we will gradually increase your knowledge and experience at a pace that ensures you are safe, supported, engaged and learning in real time!
  • This is traditional meets cutting edge and everything in between. We see our apprentices as the future of our organisation, so the learning goes both ways. We share with you our rich learnings and in turn we listen to the diverse and fresh thinking you bring.


About you: 

You will have some working experience, be proficient in Maths and English, and be able to commit to a 1 – 2 year program. You have a full NZ Driver’s license, reliable transport and clean criminal record. You are keen to start a career and to learn from a highly skilled team where Health and Safety is forefront of everything we do.
