Vehicle Mechanic

Ashchurch, Tewkesbury

 

About the role

 

Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit a Vehicle Mechanic to carry out the service, repair and overhaul on a variety of military vehicles and weapon systems including diagnostic and inspection duties.

 

You will be responsible for carrying out the work to the required standards and specifications as detailed on the Business system job cards in accordance with AESP’s, and to the customers’ requirements, current regulations, and local instructions, following process plans and other technical publications, in a safe manner and undertaking diagnostic and inspection duties on a variety of equipment ensuring completion of equipment documentation and test certificates and reports.

 

What do I need to do the role?

 

You must have a Recognised Indentured Apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) or Class 1 Tradesman for the British Forces or equivalent and be IT literate in MS Office.

 

What else do I need to know?

 

This role could be considered for flexible working.
