Facilities Design Draughtsperson

About the Role

 

Here at Babcock International, we are recruiting for a Facilities Design Draughtsperson to survey and accurately record rooms, buildings and associated building services, and produce drawing sets conforming to Drawing Office standards, using approved software packages.

 

Further responsibilities include;

  • To provide finished documentation to the customer within agreed timescales
  • To produce Point Cloud models from Laser scanning equipment
  • To use Microsoft ACCESS and ORACLE Databases.
  • To adopt, embrace and demonstrate the company’s values and beliefs
  • To provide infrastructure design capability as required

 

What do I need to do the role?

 

You will have the ability to draw accurately from surveyed data in 2D and 3D using AutoCAD 2018 incorporating AutoCAD Architecture 2018, and possess a sound knowledge of systems/infrastructure installation practices.

 

You will also demonstrate the capability to learn new surveying and processing techniques, proving you are self-motivated, adaptable and able to show initiative.

 

You will have the ability to organise and plan an area of work effectively, giving due consideration to the economic use of resources, whilst working in co-operation with others to achieve planned objectives maintaining good customer, contractor and peer group relationships.

 

Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification and have experience in AutoCAD drawing techniques.
  • HNC Mechanical Engineering qualification, or equivalent
