About the Role

You will be an integral member of our team, providing an array of engineering services in support of the design, delivery, acceptance, and sustainment of High Frequency Communications for Defence, and other related projects. Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Performing complex systems engineering activities for software and hardware product design and delivery, system analysis, acceptance testing and certification;
  • Producing and maintaining technical documentation and drawings within an engineering documentation management system;
  • Participating in the requirements definition phase of all new systems development;
  • Supporting the integration and testing of hardware, software and communications systems in an integration facility and at operational sites across Australia and New Zealand; and
  • Troubleshooting throughout all phases of implementation and sustainment of the communications system and hardware. 

About You

The successful candidate will have prior experience working on large, complex programs, and ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience in engineering, with prior systems engineering experience for Defence programs, advantageous;
  • Prior experience in defining requirements, interfaces, subsystem design, installation supervision, and commissioning; and
  • Awareness of the Defence Capability Life Cycle.
