About the Role
 

Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a dynamic and innovative environment? Babcock is expanding its IT team and looking for a talented Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of Teamcenter and other PLM solutions.
 

In this pivotal role, you will provide technical leadership, ensuring that Teamcenter seamlessly integrates with our business processes while aligning our PLM strategy with organisational goals. You will work closely with our Australasian business units to understand their specific needs, serving as the key point of contact to manage and implement essential changes across our existing Teamcenter instances.
 

As a PLM Architect, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including our UK colleagues to deliver cutting-edge PLM solutions that drive continuous improvement and support our product development initiatives. You'll be responsible for overseeing data migration, system upgrades, and performance optimisation, while also training and mentoring team members on Teamcenter functionalities.

To be successful, you will bring:
 

  • Australian Citizenship with a Defence Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with PLM systems, particularly Teamcenter.
  • Proficiency in Teamcenter configuration, customisation, and integration.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale PLM projects.
  • Experience with integrating Teamcenter with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CAD).
  • Relevant certifications in PLM or Teamcenter.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies.
  • Knowledge of International CM Standards EIA-649 and ISO 10007.
