About the Role
Due to an internal promotion, Babcock is on the lookout for a Level 2 Desktop Support Analyst to join our IT team in Adelaide. This role serves as the central point of contact for maintaining, supporting, and implementing desktop environments at a second-line level. You'll handle fault fixes, answer calls, swap out equipment, and fulfill requests as part of a wider Desktop Support team across Babcock Australasia.
You'll provide second-line technical support through agreed Service Levels and Key Performance Indicators, manage stock forecasting, logistics, and asset control for client equipment in the region, configure and build desktop machines following standard processes, and manage third-party suppliers involved in the asset lifecycle. Additionally, you'll work closely with other Babcock Information operational teams to support break-fix activity and address supply chain issues.

To be successful, you will bring:
- Australian Citizen with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
- Experience working within a Regional Support Team.
- Proven experience of working in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
- Knowledge of the ITIL environment and processes.
- Provision of 2nd Line support to users in a Windows 10 environment.
- Previous experience working in a service delivery environment.
- Current drivers’ licence with the ability to travel to multiple sites.
