About the role

Due to recent business growth, we are looking for a Business Development Lead – Joint Capabilities to join our Strategy and Future Business Unit, to help identify and secure future opportunities in the Joint Capabilities domain.

 

We are looking for someone with relationships, insight, knowledge and experience in the C4ISR domain. The position will be responsible for strategic programs across Australia and New Zealand, working as part of an integrated team of business winning professionals.

 

Whilst we always hire for attitude, a level of acumen and experience in Business Development and/or Capture is essential. The position will support the opportunity lifecycle from ‘first contact’ to ‘contract’, and will need to engage internally within the business, just as much as externally. So if you aspire to do more than just ‘have coffee and chat’ then this is the job for you.

 

Ideally you will have

A Degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience; preferably within the Defence sector. Existing networks and/or capability to generate connectivity with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Demonstrated experience in business development activities to drive new opportunities, optimise solutions and operate within governance guidelines.

 

A hunger for success, with innovative thinking. An ability to create value and develop solutions that stand out from the crowd, based on objective evidence and shrewd decision making. This along with your strong communication and negotiation skills, will see you successful in role.

 

Please note that this role is open to applicants based in Adelaide, Canberra or Melbourne.
